Characteristics:

• Plant Characteristics: Sulla is a forage plant used in clay soils in parts of the Mediterranean such as Sicily and Calabria. It blooms in May and June with beautiful ruby coloured flowers.

• Sensory Characteristics: Very runny and with a delicate taste, it is almost white and crystallises in a few months. It has slightly floral with a hint of hay.

• Composition: Rich in vitamins.

• Health Uses: It is a diuretic and liver detoxifier, and excellent for the intestine.
